| the most sporting couple of the Batch |
Today the group is rocking with Exuberance of Double Birthday Bonanza celebrations.
The day of 24th of July must be celebrated like some auspicious occasion in the group as this day has the credits for seeing the incarnation of two most special gentleman type of iconic boys of the Batch of 91 to 94.
The one of the TALLEST of the batch Dhirendra Tiwari
&
One of the COOLEST n WELL BEHAVED person of the batch who walks with an ice factory in his head Jagannadh Rao.
Both of them are blessed to create optimism and positivities in superabundance in any kind of situation and circumstances.
Wish you Lots n Lots of joyful returns of the day
Dhirendra Tiwari noticably very focused n hard working, cool n calm and visibly far from any type of roguish n waggish
behavior from very beginning was admired by many |
| Small Kid with Big Flag |
My first meeting with Dhirendra was as a competitor in 600 meters run test in entrance of BPE. I was never a good runner and I had come for BPE entrance as a sick person. 600 meters run test was the last but most strenuous test of the entrance.
Overnight heavy rain had spoiled the track so that race was conducted on the road. Though Physical Fitness for boys and girls were being conducted separately but that day first time all lot of boys and girls had assembled at a common point, and that made the atmosphere filled with lots of joyful hubbub, exuberance and jubilation as thousands of teenaged boys and girls from across India were together face to face first time. Many keen and lovely eye to eye criss-cross connections were being established, for many it was working as a motivation and for few as counter incentive.

Soon all boys and girls were divided in to groups and made to sit group wise on the ground, with boys in front and girls sitting at the back. Boys and girls were sitting like troops waiting for the command. But still heads of many keen boys were were rotating left and right more than 90° in search of some motivational glimpses of some bright and lovely faces of girls sitting in the back rows.
Route of the Race
The junction point in front of the academic block, where road parallel to the two back to back football grounds and road coming from girls hostel, parallel to the the hockey ground meet, was the starting point for the race.
Runners had to run on the road parallel to the back to back football grounds towards the Gym, then from intersection near the Gym runners had to take right turn towards Volleyball courts then via next right turn they had to finish the race at the point between hockey field and Gen. Kariappa Basketball Court. |

Race Begun
It was a 600 meters race but boys were starting the race as if they were running a 100 meters sprint like Ben Jonson. This scene had created the chill in the hearts of the students who were waiting for their turn. I was getting hopeless as I was already a sick person and situation was looking so tense that I could feel myself huffing and puffing even without running. But then a hilarious incident happened which changed my mood and mind.
That Hilarious Zero-Anxiety Sardar
In such a tense situation when all were full of anxieties, a jolly and fair complexion sardar boy just sitting in group ahead of me, was not ready to give anxieties of the upcoming race any chance to take over him.
Sitting at his place he said in Punjabi style and accent with prefixing two favorite Punjabi words which start with B & C, "Getting selected or rejected will be seen later but for now why should I waste the chance to see so many beauties around," and then he turned his ass at 180° and made himself happily busy in collecting the beautiful glimpses of beauties around. What an amusing happy-go-lucky zero anxiety soul that Sardar was, I liked the attitude and spirit of which he was made up of. It made me to smile and I could feel the anxieties were getting drained out of my mind.
(Guess, among us, who was that hilarious Sardar?)
When our turn to run came, that hilarious Sardar had made me ready with his hilarious titbits.
But the enthusiastic bunch of boys started the race like Ben Jonson and by the time I reached up to the intersection near the gym and took right turn, I had gone out of breath and energy and I was struggling badly at the tail of the bunch of tail-enders.
With each stride my body was coming under tremendous pressure and level of difficulties for the body was continuously rising, and with still about 300 meters to go, I had started thinking about quittng the race. |
| Love on the Half Way |
But before the idea of quitting could have strike me decisively, the few runners immediate ahead of me just got bit slower and in next few strides I had taken a lead over them and it worked as a timely dose to revive and boost my courage and hopes, With still about 150 meters to go with 7 - 8 runners were still ahead of me, suddenly my legs started going ahead with some sense of authority, stride length started getting longer and frequency also got multiplied and then the gear was shifted for me and I was running in the trance now. Perhaps the second wind had arrived for me.
That was Unbeatable Tiwari I had started beating the boys ahead of me one by one. LNCPE senior students specially girls standing on either side of the runway cheering for all, were like catalyst which made my speed to go up and up and up and I was running the race of my life, and now finishing point was about only 30 meters away and there only one boy was left between me and finishing line. Gap between him and me was getting close but before i could catch up with him he had crossed the finishing line just one step ahead of me.
Though I was a sick person but I was longing for seeking a berth at LNCPE.
I was so desperate for getting admission at LNCPE that the fear of getting eliminated from the test made me to run my fastest and best and most fruitful race of my life.
I never ran that way again in my life. That tall and strong boy who had finished the race just ahead of me was Dhirendra Tiwari. That was my first eye-full look at this very emphatic tall boy.
The Boy got Bald |
| Gang which had kicked me Out |
It is a time tested truth of LNCPE that in every batch all boys come with nice and shining locks of hair but by the time they graduate from LNCPE some of them lose their virgin look and their hair get lost somewhere at LNCPE and they depart with a Bald look.
By third year my hair had started departing silently and despite using varieties of hair oil, lotion and gel they were not ready to stay on my head.

| Thanedar Tiwari |
Then Pummy one of my Tharkies came with his million dollars scientific idea. He suggested me to get my head shaven and get completely bald. According to his theory, getting your head shaven makes new hair to grow thicker and faster.
Considering it as a last solution I got my head shaven from barber shop. For a normal hair cut barber used to charge Rs. 20 but for making me bald on a Sunday morning he charged Rs. 50 as according to barber once i get bald I was not going to come to him for next 3 to 4 months.

A Kiss from Tiwari
After getting bald, by afternoon we returned to Mess for lunch. My first bald look had stunned all sitting there in the Mess. Actually they were not able to decide how to react on me, was I looking stunning or was I looking like a typical namoona . (or in crude way Choo_ _ a) |
| Gabru Jawan Tiwari |
At the mess counter me and Tiwari got face to face and surprisingly he looked thrilled and delighted with my bald look, he caressed my bald head and then happily placed a warm kiss on the top of my head like some passionate lover kiss his or her counterpart.
Can't say that, was it his maiden kiss to somebody or he had any experience of the same. But kiss was a passionate one full of affection and admiration. I was kissed by someone that way first time in my teenaged life.
He kissed me, It was a lovely experience, but that experience would have been even lovelier if had that kiss come from someone else opposite from Tiwari's gender. Just an optimistic fantasy of a pathetic boy.

Medulla Oblongata
Tiwari was examining my head with his both hands, perhaps he was enjoying the feel of a big egg like structure and then by touching a small but abnormally raised point at the back of my head he screamed with fun, "Hey look here, how lovely Medulla Oblongata this boy has at the back of his head." This made whole lot of boys to burst in laughter.
I had got bald in hope of getting hair back to my head again but unfortunately they never returned back to my head. My head had got hit hard with advice of Pummy my favorite Tharki.
And this is called the justice of God, that he had given me the advice to get bald, few years later he also got bald like me.
Oh my God, what a divine justice 🤣🤣
Dhirendra n Usha My Mentors
Besides being my classmate, the perfectly matched couple Dhirendra and Usha also supported me as my mentors. Years later both of them worked hard to guide me to complete my PhD under their supervision. Actually they did the real hard work for me to make me a degree holder.
Thank you and Once again wish you very happy wala birthday dear Dhirendra.
May you always keep shining and flourishing.
Stay Blessed & Keep Rocking
